When Mike Burlotos' grandfather passed away from Covid, the loss took a toll on him emotionally. He found himself stuck in a monotonous routine. Despite his success as a finance professional, he felt unfulfilled and longed for something more.

The pandemic and the loss of his grandfather made him question his life's purpose and whether he would be proud and happy with the life he was living if he were to die today.

He realized that he needed a change and couldn't see himself continuing on the same path.

Mike knew it was time to take the leap.

So he hit the road to drive across the country in his Jeep.

Mike's journey took him to many states including from Washington, Oregon, California, Nevada, and Colorado, Wyoming and more, at one point traversing all the way from Alaska back home to Philadelphia.

The experience made him realize that life is too short to be lived on autopilot. He knew that he wanted to experience more of the world and make meaningful connections with people.

He returned home with a renewed sense of purpose and a thirst for adventure. He knew that he could never go back to his old life.

Then he found a school bus on Facebook Marketplace in Zion, Utah.

Mike knew that this was the perfect opportunity to simplify his life and pursue his passion for living off-grid.

He sent one of his friends to purchase the bus and as soon as it was bought, he sold his car and trailer, spending the next three months converting the bus to the perfect adventure mobile.

And then he went on another big epic trip, this time all the way up to Canada.

Mike's journey was not only an adventure, but also a courageous and inspiring one.

He took the risk to follow his dreams and found true fulfillment in the process. He encourages others to step out of their comfort zones, chase their passions and make their own way in the world.

Mike's inspiring story has many lessons that involve chasing your passions, taking risks and making drastic changes in your life.

But his story also highlights the importance of human connection and experiences over material possessions and societal expectations.
